About Jarred
Jarred Kibbey combined study in law and public health early in his career. He earned a J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2014 and a Master of Public Health from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences the same year. He holds a B.S. in political science from the University of Central Arkansas, completed in 2006. He also completed a certificate in bioethics and medical ethics from Loyola University Chicago, a credential that informs much of his work at the intersection of health and law.
Kibbey moved into policy work after law school. In 2016 he served as a Senior Healthcare Policy Advisor in the office of Governor Asa Hutchinson. That role put him in the middle of state-level conversations about healthcare regulation and public health programs. He advised on policy questions and collaborated with state agencies, legislative staff, and stakeholders to shape implementation of health initiatives.
At the same time he gained private-sector governance experience. In 2016 he was named a director at Westrock Coffee Company, a position that exposed him to corporate oversight, board-level decision making, and operational concerns in a commercial setting. Two years later he entered private practice as a partner at Natural State Law, PLLC. He became part of the firm’s leadership in 2018 and continues to work there.
His academic background and work in the governor’s office inform his approach to client matters. Clients have turned to him for issues that merge healthcare regulation and business considerations. He has maintained membership in the Arkansas Bar Association since 2015 and remains active in the Pulaski County Bar Association. He is licensed in Arkansas and practices under the state’s jurisdiction.
In practice he combines regulatory knowledge, policy experience, and corporate insights. He advises healthcare providers, small businesses, and boards on compliance, transactional issues, and governance. He also draws on his bioethics training when cases raise ethical or regulatory questions tied to clinical care. He now practices at Natural State Law, PLLC, where he handles health regulatory matters, corporate governance, and related transactional work.
