About Brandon
Brandon Shelton built his legal foundation at the University of California system. He earned a B.A. in Dramatic Arts from UC Santa Barbara in 2007 and completed his J.D. at UC Davis School of Law in 2012. The combination of a liberal arts undergraduate degree and a three-year law program shaped a practical, adaptable approach to legal work.
His early career began after law school. In 2013 he joined Bunsow De Mory Smith & Allison LLP as an associate. That role exposed him to firm practice and the day-to-day work of representing clients in a structured litigation and transactional environment. In 2017 he worked as a lawyer at Javid Rubens LLP, where he continued to broaden his legal skills and client responsibilities.
In 2018 Shelton moved to Bend Law Group, PC as a Business & Startup Associate. That position formalized an interest in corporate matters for emerging companies. He worked on entity formation, transactional documents, and routine counseling for small businesses and startups. The job title reflected a shift toward commercial practice and the operational concerns that founders and entrepreneurs face.
Shelton is admitted to practice in California and maintains professional ties in the Bay Area. He holds accreditation from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, enabling him to represent veterans before the VA. He is also a current member of the San Francisco Bar Association, where he participates in the local legal community and continuing education offerings.
Throughout his career Shelton has handled a mix of client-facing and behind-the-scenes work. He has prepared corporate governance materials, assisted with contract drafting and review, and advised on the administrative steps required to run a small business. On the veterans side, his VA accreditation allows him to assist clients navigating benefits and administrative appeals.
Today he is based at Bend Law Group, PC. His practice combines transactional support for startups and small businesses with work for veterans seeking representation before federal administrative bodies. He continues to work in the San Francisco legal community while advising clients on practical legal steps for starting and running a business.
