About Samantha

Samantha Brown completed a broad liberal arts education before turning to law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama in 2019, majoring in political science, Spanish and international studies, and taking a minor in Latin American, Caribbean and Latino studies. She then attended the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and finished her J.D. program in 2022.

Her undergraduate studies gave her early exposure to questions of governance, cross-border dynamics and language that now surface in her legal work. At law school she worked on classroom and clinic projects that touched on administrative and public law issues. Those experiences reinforced an interest in serving clients whose matters intersect with state law and international or multilingual contexts.

After law school, Brown established her practice in Arizona. She is admitted to practice in that state and works out of State 48 Law Office. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing files and clear in communicating options. She applies her Spanish-language skills in client interviews and document review when cases require bilingual engagement.

At State 48 Law Office she takes on a range of matters for individuals and small organizations. Her work often combines research, client counseling and representation in state forums. She spends time drafting pleadings, preparing for hearings and explaining procedural steps to clients who are new to the legal system. She also assists clients who need help understanding how regional and international issues can affect a local legal problem.

Brown’s dual background in political science and international studies informs how she frames legal questions. She pays attention to statutory detail and to the broader policy context behind disputes. That approach can help clarify practical options for clients and create a record suitable for administrative or court review when necessary.

Outside formal filings, she emphasizes clear communication. She aims to make complex processes understandable, particularly for Spanish-speaking clients who prefer to discuss their situation in that language. She also mentors newer staff at the office on case management and client intake practices.

Brown continues to practice law in Arizona at State 48 Law Office. Her current work centers on representing clients in state-level matters and providing bilingual client services that draw on her academic training in political science and international studies.
