About Tim
Tim Etzkorn built his legal career on steady moves between firms and in courtrooms. He trained in the classroom and learned on the job. Over the years he has handled a range of civil matters and taken leadership roles inside the state bar.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in history and sociology from Fordham University in 2004 and received his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2008. After law school he joined Brinker & Doyen as an associate in 2008. That early period was a crash course in litigation work and client practice. In 2012 he moved to Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP and continued to develop trial and pretrial skills. Three years later he became a partner at Etzkorn & Etzkorn, LLP, where he took on larger files and a heavier caseload.
Outside the office he has taken on responsibilities in professional circles. In 2018 he served as Co-Chair of the Torts and Transportation Committee for The Missouri Bar Association. That role placed him in a position to work on committee programs and to engage with other lawyers on issues tied to tort law and transportation matters within the state.
His career reflects a steady progression from associate to partner and then to operating his own office. He now runs The Law Office of Tim Etzkorn, LLC. The move to a solo practice follows years spent managing cases at different firm sizes and handling court work across Missouri. His practice draws on experience in civil litigation and tort matters developed over nearly two decades of practice.
