About Benjamin
Benjamin Gobel graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2010. He entered the profession at a time of steady change in the legal market. That education provided a foundation in litigation and client counseling. He has carried those skills into his work as an attorney and into the professional relationships he keeps today.
Early in his career Gobel took on a range of matters that required detailed legal research and careful client communication. He learned to break complex disputes into manageable parts. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing files and clear in presenting options to clients. He also built a network within the legal community that he keeps current through professional memberships.
Gobel joined Ogg, Murphy & Perkosky, P.C., where he has been part of the firm's team handling client matters. At the firm he contributes to case preparation, drafting of pleadings and motion practice. He works on matters that require both written advocacy and negotiation. In court and at the conference table he aims for clarity and practicality rather than technical flourish.
He balances research and advocacy. That balance shows in how he structures a case file and how he explains legal risks to clients. He tends to prioritize practical outcomes and organized strategy. Those priorities inform his approach to discovery, settlement discussions and trial preparation. When issues require outside experts or additional counsel, he arranges those resources early.
Outside his immediate caseload, Gobel maintains membership in professional organizations that keep him connected to changes in the law. He attends panels and continuing legal education programs when schedules permit. Those activities help him track procedural developments and shifts in case law that affect clients.
Today Gobel practices at Ogg, Murphy & Perkosky, P.C., where he represents clients on matters handled by the firm. He continues to draw on his law school training and his years of practice when advising clients and managing their cases.
