About Benjamin D.
Benjamin D. Bianco began his academic path at Gonzaga University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1998. He continued his studies at Brooklyn Law School and received his J.D. in 2002. Those years shaped his approach to practice and introduced him to courtroom procedure and legal research. The combination of a liberal arts undergraduate education and a New York law school education set a foundation for work in both state and federal courts.
After law school Bianco built a practice that reaches across state lines. He is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut and is also admitted in several federal districts, including the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the District of Colorado. Those admissions allow him to appear in varied federal forums and to handle matters that cross jurisdictions.
Over the course of his career Bianco has developed experience litigating in both state and federal arenas. He has handled motions, attended hearings, and litigated cases through different stages of the judicial process. He is familiar with the procedural rules that govern federal practice in the districts where he is admitted, and with the rules of New York and Connecticut courts. That practical courtroom exposure has informed how he prepares cases and manages litigation timelines.
Bianco has worked on matters that require coordination across courts and jurisdictions. He often deals with scheduling conflicts, discovery disputes, and the briefing that accompanies dispositive motions. He approaches each matter by assessing procedural posture and identifying the steps necessary to move a case forward. Colleagues describe him as attentive to court deadlines and responsive in handling filings and court communications.
He is currently an attorney at Meister Seelig & Fein LLP. At the firm he continues to represent clients in matters brought in state and federal courts where he maintains admission. His work includes court appearances, drafting of pleadings and motions, and handling discovery matters. He remains active in practice across the jurisdictions to which he is admitted and maintains a caseload that reflects litigation work in New York, Connecticut, and selected federal districts.
Bianco’s practice today centers on litigation in the jurisdictions where he holds admission, including appearances in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the District of Colorado, and state courts in New York and Connecticut.
