About Benjamin Charles
Benjamin Charles Korray built a legal path that moves from the classroom into firm leadership. He earned a B.A. in History from Emory University in 2005 and completed his J.D. at New York Law School in 2011. Those years framed an early interest in courtroom practice and law firm work.
He began his post-law-school career at Higgins + Fried LLP, joining the firm as a senior associate in 2011. At Higgins + Fried he took on responsibilities typical of an associate at a midsize firm, handling client matters and contributing to the firm's case work. The role provided daily exposure to negotiating deadlines, preparing pleadings and working with clients under pressure.
In 2016 Korray left that track to start his own firm. As a founding partner of Korray Law he moved into a leadership role that combines case handling with management. Building a practice required him to oversee intake, supervise support staff and establish operational routines. Those tasks reshaped his day-to-day focus from only practicing law to running a small legal enterprise.
Korray is admitted to practice in New York and Florida. Licensing in two states has allowed him to maintain a presence in both jurisdictions and to advise clients who face cross-jurisdictional matters. He has kept active in courtroom and transactional settings as required by client needs.
Colleagues describe Korray as pragmatic. He tends to favor direct problem solving and clear communication. That style guides how he interacts with clients and opposing counsel. It also feeds into how he staffs matters at Korray Law and assigns responsibilities within the firm.
Outside of case work he spends time refining firm procedures and managing client relationships. Those managerial duties are a regular part of his professional life now. He has continued to develop the practice he launched in 2016 while maintaining responsibilities on individual matters.
He leads Korray Law and manages the firm’s offices in New York and Florida, overseeing both client work and the firm’s operations. His current practice concentrates on serving clients through the firm’s work in those jurisdictions.
