Symantha Rhodes earned her Juris Doctor from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2021 after beginning her legal studies in 2018. Her time in law school overlapped with practical work that exposed her to drafting and client-facing responsibilities. She left the program with a clear understanding of the mechanics of legal documents and the realities of running a small practice.
Before attending law school, Rhodes worked as a self-employed realtor beginning in 2014. That work put her in regular contact with contract negotiation, title matters and real property transactions. Two years later she moved into government work as a legislative assistant in the New York State Assembly. The Assembly position introduced her to policy drafting and legislative process — experience she later translated into legal drafting work.
Rhodes began her post-graduate legal career at Adelson Law Office in 2021 as a drafting lawyer. There she focused on preparing legal documents and refining the technical language that courts and administrative bodies require. The role was short but concentrated; it allowed her to apply classroom learning to real filings and client documents almost immediately.
In 2022 she took on the role of managing lawyer at Plan Life Law, PLLC. As managing lawyer she handled both casework and day-to-day operations. That dual responsibility included supervising document preparation, advising clients, and ensuring firm procedures met professional standards. Her background in sales and legislative work shaped how she managed client communication and case organization.
Rhodes also assumed a professional membership in 2022 and that affiliation remains current. She has practiced under Florida jurisdiction and built a practice that reflects her varied background. Colleagues describe her approach as pragmatic: she focuses on clear paperwork, plain explanations and steady follow-through. She is comfortable working directly with clients and with the administrative sides of law practice.
