About Ashley R

Ashley R Rhea earned her law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2014 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at Birmingham-Southern College in 2011. She entered the legal profession following graduation and built her practice in the courts that serve Alabama and parts of Arkansas. Her education laid a foundation in trial work and courtroom procedure, which has guided her through federal and state dockets.

Rhea is admitted to practice in Alabama and in several federal jurisdictions. Her federal admissions include the Southern, Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama, as well as the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas. She is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Those credentials allow her to move between trial courts and appellate matters as client needs require.

Her professional affiliations include active membership in the National Employment Lawyers Association. That association connects her to practitioners focused on workplace disputes and related litigation. Over the years she has conducted litigation in state and federal forums across the region, handling case preparation, motions practice and court appearances. Colleagues describe her courtroom approach as practical and procedural; she tends to favor clear briefing and direct oral argument.

Rhea practices from Rhea Law LLC. She manages client matters, prepares pleadings and represents clients in hearings and trials when a contested matter progresses to court. Her admission across multiple federal districts and to the Eleventh Circuit supports a practice that can follow a case through different stages and venues. She maintains active involvement in professional networks that address employment law developments and procedural changes.

She continues to maintain a presence in Alabama’s courtrooms and is available to accept matters that require both state and federal filings. Her current practice focuses on employment law matters.
