About Brooke

Brooke Davis built her legal foundation in Alabama. She earned a B.A. from Troy University in 2011 and completed her J.D. at Birmingham School of Law in 2016. Those years in school set the stage for entry into practice in the state courts and federal system.

She gained admission to the Alabama bar in 2017 and maintains active status. Her credentials include permission to appear in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama and before the 11th Circuit. She also handles matters in the Social Security Disability Administrative Court.

Davis began her post-law school career in private practice. In 2017 she worked as an associate at Zarzaur & Schwartz, PC, where she took on litigation matters and learned courtroom procedure. A year later she joined Beckum Law LLC as an associate. At Beckum Law she expanded the range of cases she handles and continued to develop practical litigation experience across state and federal dockets.

Her courtroom work has included filings and hearings in federal district courts and appellate briefs in the 11th Circuit. She also represents clients before the Social Security Disability Administrative Court, shepherding claims through hearings and appeals. That mix of disability adjudication and trial-level civil litigation shapes the kinds of matters she accepts and the strategies she employs.

Davis belongs to several professional organizations. She has been a member of the Alabama State Bar and the Shelby County Bar Association since 2017. She joined the National Employment Lawyers Association in 2018 and remains active there. Those affiliations supply continuing legal education, peer contacts and forums for discussing emerging issues in employment and disability law.

Colleagues describe Davis as methodical in preparing for hearings and careful in managing case deadlines. She combines courtroom experience with client counseling, aiming to explain options plainly and set realistic expectations for litigation or administrative proceedings. Her files often cover disputes that require both federal litigation skills and an understanding of administrative processes.

As of 2026 she practices at Beckum Law, where she handles litigation in state and federal courts and represents clients in Social Security Disability matters and employment-related disputes. Her current practice focuses on litigation and administrative advocacy in those areas.
