Nova Levante built a steady academic foundation before entering the courtroom. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Economics and Philosophy from Spring Arbor University in 2014. She continued her studies at Rutgers University, completing a Master of Arts in the Politics of Cybersecurity in 2016. Levante then took her legal training to the University of Dayton School of Law and graduated with a J.D. in 2019.
Her legal career began soon after law school. In 2019 she joined the Law Offices of Robert S. Gitmeid & Associates, PLLC as an associate lawyer. The next year brought several moves. She served as a law clerk at BakerHostetler in 2020, then worked as an associate at Fox and Associates Co., L.P.A. Later she took an associate role at Shur Law in 2021. In 2023 she became a partner at Leo Law Co., LPA.
Across those positions she handled client work in different settings. Clerking at a firm of BakerHostetler’s scale gave her exposure to organized workflows and litigation support. Her associate roles at smaller practices required direct client contact and courtroom appearances. That mix of experiences provided practical knowledge of case management, courtroom procedure and client counseling.
Levante is admitted to practice in Kentucky, Colorado and Ohio. She also holds a GAL certification from the Supreme Court of Ohio Office of Lawyer Services, a credential that authorizes court-appointed work in guardianship and child-related matters in Ohio. The certification is a specific professional designation and appears alongside her other qualifications.
Colleagues describe her as methodical. She tends to approach matters with attention to procedural detail and an eye for how evidence will play in court. Her academic background in the politics of cybersecurity informs her understanding of regulatory and policy issues when they intersect with client matters, though her formal legal training remained grounded in traditional litigation and advocacy skills.
Today Levante practices at Leo Law Co., LPA, operating out of multiple offices including Downtown, Blue Ash, West Chester, Hyde Park and Northern Kentucky. She practices across Kentucky, Colorado and Ohio and her current work includes court-appointed guardian ad litem matters and representation in state-level proceedings.
