Anita Dickinson is a criminal defense attorney based in Taylorsville, Utah. She has been practicing law for over 18 years, focusing on criminal law, domestic violence, DUI & DWI, and juvenile law. She earned her Juris Doctor from Seattle University in 2006.
After law school, she returned to Salt Lake City, where she began her legal career as a clerk at the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office. During her tenure there, she worked in the Special Victims and Screening Units, gaining experience in evaluating felony and misdemeanor cases and assisting in trial preparations for violent felony cases. She also had the opportunity to argue motions before judges and co-chair cases to juries under the 3rd Year Student Rule.
In 2007, she was admitted to the Utah State Bar and has been an active member since then. In 2013, she founded her own practice, the Law Office of Anita Dickinson, in Taylorsville, Utah. Her firm handles many criminal cases, from minor traffic infractions to felony offenses, and also offers services in family law, including divorce, custody, and protective orders.
