About Andrew J.
Andrew J. Tetreault is an attorney who built his legal career between the courtroom and private practice. He earned his J.D. from Tulane University School of Law in 2003 after completing a B.A. in Politics and Government at Ohio Wesleyan University in 1999. Those formative years set a foundation in both public service and advocacy.
Early in his career he joined the Pinellas County State Lawyer’s Office as an Assistant State Lawyer in 2006. That role put him on the front lines of state-level legal work and offered steady exposure to trial procedure and client counseling. He handled matters that required regular court appearances and collaboration with other public offices.
In 2011 he took on a leadership role as Owner, Lawyer & Counselor-at-Law at Pearlman & Tetreault, P.A. Since then he has practiced under that firm name. The title reflects both ownership responsibilities and ongoing legal work. He has run a small firm environment in which case strategy, client intake and office management intersect.
Tetreault is admitted to practice in Florida and in the Federal Circuit. He maintains membership in the Florida State Bar. Those admissions allow him to represent clients in state courts and to pursue matters that reach federal appellate venues. His background in a county state lawyer’s office provides a perspective on how state-level decisions flow into broader appellate questions.
Colleagues and clients see him as a steady practitioner who combines courtroom experience with private practice know-how. He has spent years alternating between advocacy in court and advising clients outside it. That mix has shaped how he approaches case preparation and legal problem solving.
Outside of listed roles, he has kept his practice anchored in the Tampa Bay region, handling matters that require both local knowledge and familiarity with federal procedures. He balances the administrative side of running a firm with ongoing client work. He currently concentrates his practice on matters arising in Florida and in federal court.
