About Alycia Kathryn
Alycia Kathryn Kimmel completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University, earning a Bachelor of Science in 2014. She went on to Syracuse University College of Law and received her Juris Doctor in 2018. Her academic path combined a large research university and a law school known for practical training, giving her a foundation in both analytical work and courtroom procedure.
After law school, Kimmel joined Levene Gouldin & Thompson as an associate lawyer in 2018. In that role she handled client intake, legal research, drafting of motions and briefs, and other tasks typical of early-career litigation and advisory work. Joining a regional firm early in her career allowed her to observe a range of matters and to work directly with partners and senior associates on court filings and client communications.
Kimmel is admitted to practice in both New York and Florida. She maintains memberships in the New York State Bar Association, the Broome County Bar Association, and the Florida State Bar. Those memberships reflect an interest in staying current with developments in both states and in participating in local and state bar activities.
Her career has balanced courtroom work and office-based preparation. She has experience producing written work product for judges, opposing counsel and clients. That includes pleadings, discovery materials and legal memoranda. Colleagues describe her as thorough in research and attentive to procedural detail. She has worked on matters that require coordination across offices and jurisdictions, which has shaped how she approaches scheduling and case management.
Kimmel continues to practice from her position at Levene Gouldin & Thompson, handling matters that arise in the states where she is licensed. Her current practice focuses on legal matters in New York and Florida.
