About Alphonse
Alphonse Provinziano trained at the University of California system. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and English Literature at UC Berkeley, then completed his Juris Doctor at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco in 2004. Those years shaped his facility with legal writing and courtroom rhetoric, skills he has used throughout his career.
He began his legal work in public service. In 2004 he served as a law clerk at the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. The following year he joined the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office as a deputy district attorney. Those early roles placed him in front of juries and in prosecutorial teams handling criminal matters, giving him practical trial experience and exposure to courtroom procedure.
By 2008 Provinziano had moved into private practice as a senior trial lawyer at Provinziano & Associates. That role expanded his responsibilities. He handled trial preparation, argued before judges, and managed case strategy. Over time he shifted part of his work toward family law. He earned certification as a Family Law Specialist from the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization, a credential that recognizes specialized training and examinations in that field.
Provinziano’s bar associations reflect a regional practice. He has been active in the San Bernardino County Bar Association since 2009. He joined the Beverly Hills Bar Association in 2015 and maintains membership there. He was also a member of the Orange County Bar Association from 2013 to 2014. Those affiliations indicate work across Southern California counties and contact with local legal communities and court systems.
He lists a main office in Beverly Hills. Cases in his practice history include both courtroom litigation and negotiated settlements. His background in criminal prosecutions informs his approach to evidentiary and procedural issues, and his family law specialist certification signals additional training on complex divorce, custody, and support matters.
Colleagues describe him as experienced in trial work and familiar with the local courthouse calendars and judges. He continues to represent clients out of Provinziano & Associates and handles matters arising in California courts. He practices primarily in family law and related trial litigation.
