About Armen
Armen Sarkissian earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles before turning to law. He completed his J.D. at Southwestern Law School in 2020. The combination of a science background and legal training gives him a methodical approach to problem solving and research.
After law school, Sarkissian moved into private practice. In 2021 he joined Baghdaserians Law Group Inc. as an associate lawyer. Early in that role he took on a range of tasks common to emerging litigators and transactional attorneys: drafting pleadings and motions, conducting statutory and case-law research, preparing discovery, and supporting client intake and counseling.
Colleagues describe him as practical and concise in legal writing. He prefers clear, document-based argument over ornate rhetoric. That style is well suited to the firm environment, where matters often require careful file management and precise advocacy under tight deadlines.
Sarkissian is licensed to practice in California. He has worked on matters that require coordination with opposing counsel, court personnel and experts. In the office he is involved in preparing memoranda and settlement analyses, and he assists senior attorneys at hearings and depositions when required. He also spends time advising clients on procedural issues and next steps as cases develop.
Outside the immediate casework, Sarkissian keeps current with changes in state law and court rules. He has engaged in continuing legal education relevant to practice in California courts. His background in science sometimes informs how he approaches technical evidence and expert testimony, and he draws on that training when he reviews reports or questions methodologies.
He remains at Baghdaserians Law Group Inc., where he practices across the state of California. His work centers on representing clients in matters handled by the firm and supporting litigation and transactional workflows across the office.
