About MavEryck Langford
MavEryck Langford Stevenson earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton in 2012. He went on to complete his legal education at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, receiving his J.D. in 2016. Those formative years combined classroom study and early practical experience. They shaped how he approaches facts and procedure now.
Soon after law school, Stevenson founded The Law Offices of MavEryck Langford Stevenson, Esq. He has served as the firm's owner since 2016. The practice began as a solo office, and he has managed the firm’s day-to-day work and client relationships. Running a small practice has meant handling many tasks directly, from client intake to filings and court appearances.
Stevenson is admitted to practice in California and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. That dual jurisdictional standing allows him to handle matters at both state trial levels and on appeal. Over the years he has taken on litigation responsibilities that require written advocacy and in-court representation. He has also handled appellate briefing and oral argument in matters that proceeded beyond the trial court.
His undergraduate background in criminal justice informs his perspective on investigations, evidence, and case development. His law school training added procedure, statutory analysis, and advocacy techniques. In practice he combines those strands into preparation for hearings, motions, and appellate filings. He tends to approach cases methodically, aiming for clear legal presentation and organized record development.
Colleagues and clients encounter a lawyer who manages a compact office and attends personally to many parts of each file. That arrangement means he often oversees strategy, meets directly with witnesses, and drafts key pleadings himself. The practice’s size allows for continuity between the person advising a client and the person appearing in court.
Stevenson maintains his office under the name The Law Offices of MavEryck Langford Stevenson, Esq. He handles cases filed in California courts and filings before the Ninth Circuit, and he continues to represent clients in those forums in his current practice focus.
