About Alexander
Alexander Sendlak learned the law in steel-and-lake country. He earned his J.D. from Northern Illinois University in 2006 and built a practice in Illinois courts. The early credentials set a steady pace for the work that followed.
He moved into public service shortly after graduation. In 2008 he joined the DuPage County State's Lawyer's Office, where he served as an assistant and handled prosecutorial and courtroom responsibilities. That period gave him repeated exposure to trial practice and the day-to-day demands of public litigation.
In 2015 Sendlak entered private practice, taking a position at Dolci & Weiland. He has remained with the firm since then, splitting time between its offices and working on matters brought to the firm by its clients. Colleagues describe him as methodical and steady in court; he is known for preparing thoroughly and presenting arguments plainly.
Outside the office he has engaged with professional groups. Since 2016 he has been a member of The National Advocates Top 100 Lawyers. He has belonged to other professional circles as well, maintaining ties to the legal community in the region where he practices.
Sendlak's career shows a common arc: classroom to public courtroom to private firm. He gained courtroom experience early and then translated that into practice at Dolci & Weiland in Chicago. He is licensed in Illinois and continues to work on cases that come to the firm, advising clients and appearing when matters require a courtroom presence.
He now practices at Dolci & Weiland in Chicago, where his work centers on representing the firm's clients.
