About Dominick R
Dominick R Dolci earned his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in 1990. He entered the legal profession in Illinois, where he has practiced since earning his degree. His legal education set the stage for a career spent largely in private practice in the state.
Within a few years of graduation he took on a leadership role at a small firm. In 1993 he became managing partner at Dolci & Weiland. That title has defined much of his professional life; by 2026 he has held that role for more than three decades. The managing partner position has involved both firm administration and oversight of casework, responsibilities he has carried alongside other professional activities.
Dolci is admitted to practice in Illinois. He has been active in legal circles and joined The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Lawyers in 2016. That membership places him among a network of trial lawyers and reflects a continuing connection to courtroom practice. He also holds current membership in an additional professional organization.
Over the years his work at Dolci & Weiland has spanned the demands of running a law office and representing clients in contentious matters. Colleagues remember him for steady courtroom presence and attention to procedural detail. He has managed staff and mentored younger attorneys at the firm while handling the caseloads that come with sustaining a litigation practice.
Outside the courtroom he has helped shape firm procedures and client intake practices. He maintains offices for Dolci & Weiland and continues to be involved in firm decisions, from staffing to case strategy. His career reflects long-term involvement in Illinois practice and the practicalities of operating a small law firm.
As of 2026 he remains at Dolci & Weiland, practicing in Illinois and continuing to handle trial work and client representation through the firm.
