About Alexander Donald

Alexander Donald Egner took a straightforward route into the law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts at Dickinson College, attending from 2009 and graduating in 2013. He then completed a Juris Doctor at Pennsylvania State University in 2017. A year later he added a Master’s degree from Liberty University in 2018. Those degrees chart a steady progression from undergraduate study to professional credentials.

His career began in uniform. In 2009 he served as a military police officer in the U.S. Army. That early service placed him on the front lines of law enforcement and introduced him to the procedures and pressures of policing. He moved from military service into legal study and then into public prosecution.

After law school he joined the Lancaster District Attorney’s office as an assistant district lawyer in 2017. In that role he handled cases at various stages of prosecution. He appeared in court, managed files and worked with investigators and victims. The position provided practical courtroom experience and exposure to trial procedures, evidentiary issues and case preparation.

Those experiences shaped his work in private practice. He is now a member of Chieppor & Egner LLC, where he applies the skills he developed in the military and in the district attorney’s office. His background gives him familiarity with criminal statutes, courtroom practice and evidence handling. Clients and colleagues have noted his methodical case preparation and attention to procedural detail. He has represented parties in hearings and has taken cases through trial stages when required.

Outside the courtroom he has maintained ties to professional networks and continued his legal education. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and handles matters across the state. He has combined classroom study and on-the-ground experience to build a practice that bridges public service and private representation.

He works from Chieppor & Egner LLC and brings his prosecutorial and military law experience to his litigation work. His current practice centers on litigation that draws on that background.
