About Aaron
Aaron Bundy builds his practice on courtroom experience and a steady accumulation of specialized credentials. He earned a B.S. in marketing from the University of Tulsa in 1998 and a J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2003. In 2021 he completed a Certified Financial Planner™ certificate through Southern Methodist University’s continuing education program.
His early career drove him into litigation and family law. Records show he practiced under the Bundy Law name as early as 2006. In 2014 he had a professional affiliation with Fry & Elder. Over time his résumé has expanded to include federal and state admissions in several jurisdictions, including Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and New York, along with appearances in the Eighth and Tenth Circuits, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
He combines trial work with an interest in the financial dimensions of family cases. That interest is reflected in the CFP™ credential and in board certification: he is a board certified family trial lawyer through the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and, starting in 2023, a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers.
His memberships track the scope of his practice. He serves as an associate editor of the Oklahoma Bar Journal. He maintains memberships in the American Bar Association, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Those affiliations suggest active engagement in both family law and criminal-defense circles.
In court he appears to handle contested hearings and trials as a matter of routine. The combination of trial board certification, academic work in financial planning, and fellowship status in family-law organizations positions him to address disputes that require both litigation skills and financial analysis. He has been involved in matters that raise custody, asset division and spousal support issues, among others.
Colleagues describe a lawyer who moves between courtroom advocacy and case planning. His editorial role at the Oklahoma Bar Journal keeps him connected to current legal discussion, and his multi-jurisdictional admissions allow him to take on matters across state and federal lines. He currently concentrates his practice on family law and related trial matters.
