About Megan
Megan Leslie grew up in Arkansas before heading to the University of Arkansas School of Law. She began law school in 2015 and earned her J.D. in 2018. The years at law school shaped her legal instincts and introduced her to courtroom practice and client counseling.
After graduating, she entered practice in Arkansas. She has built her career around representing people in state courts and advising clients on matters under Arkansas law. Over time she left larger firm settings to start her own practice. The move allowed her to run a smaller, more nimble office and to handle cases from initial consultation through resolution.
Her work has required a mix of courtroom experience, document drafting and negotiation. She handles client intake, prepares pleadings and manages case calendars. In court she argues motions and takes depositions where necessary. Outside the courtroom she spends time advising clients about their options and the likely outcomes in their matters.
Colleagues and clients describe her as straightforward and practical. She tends to prioritize clear communication. That approach helps clients understand complex legal rules and the steps involved in resolving disputes. She aims to set realistic expectations, even when the facts are difficult.
Megan has also invested time in professional development. She keeps current on changes in Arkansas statutes and court procedures. Continuing legal education and local bar activities have informed how she handles the procedural side of cases and how she evaluates risks for clients.
Today she practices under the name M Leslie Law, PLLC. Her office handles a range of matters governed by state law and serves individuals and small entities in Arkansas. She maintains a small staff and manages most client relationships directly, from intake through case resolution.
Her approach is plainspoken. She explains the law in everyday terms and maps out the steps a client can expect to take. She balances courtroom readiness with efforts to resolve disputes where settlement is a viable option. She practices from M Leslie Law, PLLC and represents clients in matters arising under Arkansas law.
