About Nicholas Lynn

Nicholas Lynn Coleman began his legal path after completing undergraduate studies in history at the University of Arkansas. He earned his B.A. in 2008 and continued at the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2011. Those years in Fayetteville shaped his approach to courtroom work and legal research.

He was admitted to practice in Arkansas in 2012 and later gained admission to the Eighth Circuit. His early professional experience includes a position at the Wayne Young Law Office in 2013, where he worked on civil matters and gained hands-on trial preparation experience. In 2017 he opened Coleman Law Office and has practiced as owner and lawyer since then.

Coleman’s professional memberships date back to the start of his legal career. He has held active membership in the Arkansas State Bar since 2012 and joined the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association the same year. He is also a member of NOSSCR, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, which aligns closely with a substantial portion of his casework.

Over the years he has split his time between administrative advocacy and courtroom practice. He represents individuals in Social Security disability matters and handles civil litigation in state and federal courts. He files appeals, pursues hearings before administrative law judges, and prepares cases for trial when necessary. His work requires navigating administrative rules, drafting pleadings, and presenting evidence at hearings.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparation and straightforward in court. He tends to keep a practical perspective on case strategy and client counseling. That approach informs routine decisions about when to settle and when to press forward to a hearing or trial. He balances client communication with the procedural demands of filings and deadlines.

At Coleman Law Office he manages the practice side of running a small firm as well as his caseload. The office represents clients across Arkansas and in proceedings before the Eighth Circuit when appeals arise. He maintains active bar membership and participates in professional organizations that relate to trial practice and Social Security advocacy.

He practices from Coleman Law Office, where he handles Social Security disability claims and related civil litigation in Arkansas and in the Eighth Circuit.
