About Zane T.

Zane T. Cagle earned his law degree from Washington University School of Law in 2002 after completing a Bachelor of Science in 1998 at Central Missouri State University. He moved quickly into practice following law school and has built a career that spans multiple Midwestern jurisdictions.

He began his legal career as an associate at Anderson & Associates in 2005. A year later he took a partnership position at Page|Cagle Law Office, where he handled a range of civil matters and developed trial experience. In 2010 he opened The Cagle Law Office as a founding partner. That move established him as a principal at his own firm and set the direction of his practice for the following decade and beyond.

Cagle is licensed to practice in Kentucky, Missouri and Illinois. He joined professional organizations early in his career and has maintained active memberships. He has been a member of the Missouri Bar Association and the Illinois Bar Association since 2003. He joined the St. Louis Metropolitan Bar Association in 2004. In 2011 he joined the Kentucky Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers College, reflecting an ongoing interest in courtroom work and advocacy skills.

Colleagues describe Cagle as practical in approach. He favors clear case preparation and straightforward courtroom presentation. He has handled matters in state courts across the three jurisdictions where he is admitted and has managed both trial and pretrial phases of litigation. He prefers to prepare cases thoroughly so the options at settlement or trial are clear to clients.

Outside the courtroom he has been involved in bar activities and peer groups that emphasize trial technique and professional development. His membership in the Trial Lawyers College signals continued attention to trial craft. The sequence of his positions, from associate to partner to founding his own firm, shows steady professional progression and a focus on litigation practice.

Clients and other attorneys see him as procedural and methodical. He takes on the management of cases from initial intake through trial readiness. He balances courtroom preparation with the procedural demands of multi-jurisdiction practice.

He currently concentrates his practice on litigation across the jurisdictions where he is licensed.
