About Zachary
Zachary Taylor began his legal career soon after finishing law school and has built a practice centered on courtroom work and client representation. He earned a B.A. in Latin and Philosophy from the University of Minnesota in 2005, then took his law degree from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2008. Those studies set a disciplined foundation for how he approaches legal problems.
He moved into private practice immediately after law school. In 2008 he joined Borowitz & Goldsmith PLC as an associate lawyer, handling day-to-day litigation and learning case preparation from the ground up. Five years later he shifted roles to serve of counsel at Murphy & Powell PLC, a position he held beginning in 2013. In 2014 he became a member of Craig Henry PLC, expanding his involvement in civil cases and courtroom strategy.
Taylor launched his own firm in 2015. As owner of Taylor Couch, PLLC, he oversees the firm’s matters and represents clients in state and federal proceedings. His experience includes cases brought in Kentucky courts and in the federal courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. He is admitted to practice in both Kentucky and Minnesota.
Outside the office he maintains memberships in professional groups that reflect his practice interests. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association. He also belongs to the Kentucky Justice Association and the National Association of Consumer Advocates. Those ties keep him connected to developments in litigation practice and consumer-related issues.
Colleagues describe him as steady in court and methodical in case preparation. He has taken on roles that require both solo management and collaboration inside larger firms. That mix of experience has shaped how he runs his own practice: balancing trial readiness with the administrative work of a small firm.
He continues to accept matters through Taylor Couch, PLLC and practices in both state and federal courts. His work focuses on consumer protection and civil litigation.
