About Yosi

Yosi Yahoudai graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles where he earned a Bachelor of Arts. He went on to receive his J.D. from Southwestern Law School. Those years in the classroom gave him a foundation in legal research and courtroom procedure.

He began his legal work as a Certified Law Clerk in the Civil Liability Division of the City Lawyer’s Office. There he handled legal research, drafted pleadings and motions, and assisted attorneys in preparing for hearings and trials. The work exposed him to complex municipal and civil liability matters and to the logistics of defending public entities.

After the clerkship, Yahoudai transitioned into litigation practice. He has maintained memberships in several professional organizations that align with trial and civil litigation work. He is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and belongs to the Distinguished Justice Advocates, Ethical Lawyers of America, and the American Academy of Trial Lawyers. Those affiliations reflect a career spent largely in contested matters and courtroom advocacy.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation. He breaks issues down fact by fact and builds arguments from the ground up. He is known for careful drafting and for pursuing clarity in complex filings. He also spends time on discovery strategy and witness preparation, tasks that shape the course of a case long before trial.

Yahoudai is licensed to practice in California and has worked on matters involving both public and private defendants. His background in a city law office gives him familiarity with governmental procedures and with the interplay between municipal law and civil liability claims. He applies that experience to civil disputes that require attention to procedural detail and to the practical realities of litigation in state courts.

Outside the courtroom, he remains engaged with professional networks that focus on trial work and ethical practice. He participates in continuing education programs and joins peer groups that discuss trial technique and case law developments. That activity keeps him current on shifts in litigation practice and on emerging legal issues that affect civil trials.

He practices in California and concentrates on civil litigation and trial work.
