About Rod
Rod Armande built his legal path steadily, beginning in the classrooms and clinics of law school and moving into small-firm practice before opening his own office. He is admitted to practice in California and works primarily in immigration and personal injury matters.
He enrolled at Western State University College of Law in 2012 and earned his J.D. in 2016, studying immigration and personal injury topics while in school. As a student lawyer in the law school’s immigration clinic in 2015, he worked on client matters under supervision, gaining hands-on exposure to petitions, applications and relief available through immigration law.
After graduation he continued to refine practical skills. In 2017 he worked as a paralegal at the Law Office of Edward R. Damon. That position gave him weekday experience preparing filings, managing case documents and coordinating with clients. It was an early step into the procedural side of immigration and civil claims work.
Beginning in 2019 Armande served as an associate attorney at several Los Angeles-area practices. He spent time at Los Angeles Immigration Lawyers, the Law Office of Rosana Chueng and the Law Offices of Gita B. Kapur & Associates. Those roles exposed him to a range of matters, from removal defense and family-based petitions to personal injury case intake and negotiation. He handled client interviews, case preparation and routine court or agency filings while working under more senior attorneys.
In 2023 he founded Rod Armande Law and took on the role of principal lawyer. Around that period he also received recognition from Lawyers of Distinction for work in immigration and personal injury law. The recognition is listed as a certification acknowledging his contributions in those areas.
Clients who have met him describe a lawyer who draws on practical courtroom and office experience. He balances administrative work—paperwork, deadlines and agency procedures—with client-facing tasks such as interviews and advocacy. He continues to handle matters that require knowledge of immigration forms, relief categories and the mechanics of personal injury claims.
He currently practices immigration and personal injury law at Rod Armande Law.
