About Jonathan
Jonathan Kintzele approaches law the way he approaches argument: clear, direct and prepared. He builds his cases from facts and precedent. He writes plainly and speaks plainly. Those qualities emerged early in his academic life and carried into practice.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and environmental science from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2012. He then attended the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2017. The combination of social science and law shaped his interest in disputes that touch both policy and private rights.
After law school he joined K&L Gates LLP as an associate in 2017. There he worked on commercial disputes and civil litigation matters, taking part in case preparation, discovery and motion practice. In 2021 he moved to DLA Piper LLC as an associate, where larger teams and cross-jurisdictional matters broadened his exposure to complex commercial litigation and trial support.
In 2023 he took a counsel position at KLG P.C. The move brought him back into a smaller-firm setting where he could take a more active role in case strategy and courtroom preparation. Colleagues describe him as procedural-minded and attentive to the details that often decide disputes. He participates in trial calendars, client meetings and settlement negotiations, among other tasks.
Kintzele is licensed to practice in California. He maintains memberships in local and statewide bar organizations, including the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Beverly Hills Bar Association. He also belongs to plaintiff-side trial groups, holding memberships in the California Association of Attorneys for Justice and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association. Those affiliations keep him tied to continuing legal education and the trial bar community.
His litigation practice draws on both courtroom experience and written advocacy. He handles witness preparation, motions, depositions and settlement planning. He favors careful case management and early assessment of risk. That approach aims to give clients clear choices at each stage of a dispute and to streamline the path to resolution.
As of 2026 he serves as counsel at KLG P.C., where his current practice centers on civil litigation and trial work in California.
