About William King
William King Holland built his legal foundation at the University of Missouri–Columbia. He earned a B.A. in Journalism in 1985 and returned to the same campus to receive his J.D. in 1989. Those years in Columbia shaped the way he prepares a case and the way he tells a client's story in court.
After law school he established a practice grounded in trial work. He is admitted to practice in both Missouri and Illinois and has spent decades handling contested matters in state courts. Over the years he affiliated with several professional trial organizations, including the Missouri Association of Trial Lawyers, the American Association Of Justice, the National Association of Trial Lawyers and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
Holland developed a courtroom practice that centers on contested civil matters. He has tried cases and handled pretrial litigation, depositions and jury preparation. Peers have recognized him on an individual basis; he has been named a Super Lawyer by Thompson Reuters. That recognition appears alongside long-standing memberships in trial bar groups and regular participation in continuing education aimed at trial practitioners.
Colleagues describe him as steady under pressure and deliberate in preparation. He tends to take a hands-on approach in every file he accepts. He prepares exhibits, oversees experts and handles witness interviews. His training in journalism early in his career informs how he frames questions and organizes witness narratives. It also affects how he communicates complex facts to juries and judges.
Holland has kept a local focus while maintaining a broad litigation practice across two states. He has been involved in the legal community in St. Louis through the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and through state and national trial groups. He participates in association programs and attends national meetings that center on trial techniques and procedural developments.
Today he practices at Holland Injury Law, LLC. He represents clients from initial consultation through trial and post-trial matters. His current practice concentrates on injury-related civil litigation handled from the office of Holland Injury Law, LLC.
