About William C. White
William C. White II began his legal path at the University of Alabama, where he completed a Bachelor of Science in accounting in 1995. He stayed in Tuscaloosa for law school and earned his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1998. Those years grounded him in both financial analysis and courtroom procedure.
He started his legal career as an associate at Lee & McInish in 1998. The following year he moved into public service as a deputy district lawyer, a role that put him in the courtroom handling prosecutions and learning case preparation on a municipal scale. In 2004 he took on firm leadership as a managing partner at Parkman White, LLP, where he has overseen day-to-day operations and the work of other attorneys.
Across public and private roles, White accumulated experience in litigation and case management. His time in the district lawyer’s office gave him direct exposure to courtroom practice and trial work. Later, as a managing partner, he handled complex files and directed litigation strategy. He is licensed to practice in Alabama, New York and the District of Columbia, and he has maintained membership in the Alabama State Bar since 1998.
Professional affiliations reflect the practical breadth of his work. He is a current member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the American Association for Justice. Those memberships indicate ongoing involvement in both defense-side and civil advocacy communities and provide avenues for continuing education and peer engagement.
Colleagues describe White as a lawyer comfortable in both the public and private sectors. He has navigated prosecutorial responsibilities and later the managerial demands of running a law firm. That combination informs how he evaluates case risk, allocates resources and prepares for hearings and trials.
White splits his time between offices in Birmingham and Dothan. He remains active in courtrooms and client consultations across the jurisdictions where he is licensed. His current practice concentrates on litigation and courtroom advocacy in the states and jurisdictions where he holds admission.
