About Wendy
Wendy Bradford built a legal foundation that pairs business training with specialized study in tax and business law. She earned a B.S. in Business Management from Troy University’s Montgomery campus in 1995 and a J.D., concentrating in Business and Tax Law, from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1998. The academic path set the stage for a practice that spans transactional, regulatory and client-centered matters.
Her early legal years were spent inside established Utah firms and courts. She worked as a law clerk at Merrill, Schultz & Wolds in 2001. A year later she joined Jones, Waldo, Hollbrook & McDonough as an associate, where she handled a range of matters and gained experience in firm practice. In 2009 she opened Bradford Law Office and later organized the practice as Bradford Law Office, LLC. She has also taught as an adjunct professor at Argosy University in 2009.
Bradford’s credentials extend beyond traditional licensure. She serves as a Notary Public through the Office of the Lieutenant Governor and is an attorney accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs to prepare and prosecute claims for veterans’ benefits. Those qualifications reflect an interest in both administrative advocacy and the paperwork that matters to older clients and veterans.
Much of her professional involvement centers on elder law and related community concerns. She is a member of the Utah State Bar’s Elder Law Section and served on its executive committee beginning in 2010. She has presented or participated in section events and educational programs, including sessions on guardianship, conservatorship and ethical dilemmas in elder law. She also holds membership in the Utah Geriatrics Society and participates in the Utah State Bar Family Law Section and Women Lawyers of Utah group.
Her community-facing work includes workshops and conferences aimed at older adults and underserved groups. Records show participation in the Utah Aging Alliance annual conference in 2010, a Senior Expo on guardianship and conservatorship in 2011, and a community workshop for the deaf and hard of hearing at the Sanderson Community Center in 2011. These appearances point to a practice that engages both legal and practical aspects of aging.
Today she operates Bradford Law Office, LLC in Utah. Her practice concentrates on elder law matters, guardianship and conservatorship, and veterans benefits.
