About Waynice

When colleagues and clients first meet Waynice Green they often start with the same question: where did he study? The answer spans two campuses. He attended Rutgers University–New Brunswick/Piscataway for his undergraduate work and earned his law degree at Fordham University School of Law. Those schools shaped the foundation of his legal training and his approach to practice.

He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and is a member of the bar there. Green works out of Colby & Associates, where he handles matters that arise in state courts and before administrative bodies. He represents individuals and organizations across a range of legal tasks and frequently deals with procedural and regulatory issues that are specific to New Jersey law.

At Fordham, Green completed the coursework required for the Juris Doctor and engaged in the kind of doctrinal study that feeds courtroom preparation. His time at Rutgers exposed him to a wide range of undergraduate subjects and local issues that continue to inform his work. Together those academic experiences gave him a durable grounding in legal analysis and an appreciation for the practical side of client problems.

Peers describe Green as methodical and precise. He approaches each file with an eye for detail and a sense of timing. Court filings, motions, discovery and client meetings all receive a predictable level of care. He places particular importance on clear communication, aiming to make legal options understandable without oversimplifying the stakes.

Outside the office Green keeps a low public profile. He does not seek the spotlight. Instead he focuses on steady work for the people and entities that retain him, attending to the procedural and substantive demands of cases that come through his door.

His practice sits squarely in New Jersey. Today he continues to represent clients from his office at Colby & Associates and concentrates his current practice on legal matters in New Jersey.
