About Brian
Brian McFadden-DiNicola built the kind of academic record that points toward a legal career early on. He took his undergraduate degree in political science at Rutgers University–Newark, finishing in 1999 after beginning studies in 1995. He then moved on to Seton Hall University School of Law, completing his J.D. in 2007.
Those years in the classroom shaped his approach to law. At Rutgers he studied the mechanics of government and public policy. At Seton Hall he encountered the practical side of advocacy and legal analysis. The combination left him prepared for the demands of practice and the detail work that lawyers face every day.
After law school McFadden-DiNicola entered practice in New Jersey. He is licensed to practice in that state and has continued his work there. Early career steps can vary for many lawyers — some begin in public service, others in firm settings or in-house roles. McFadden-DiNicola’s path reflects steady involvement in the state’s legal community and routine engagement with court procedures and client counseling.
Colleagues describe him as methodical and precise in his work. He tends to favor clear, direct written advocacy and practical problem solving. Those habits are useful across litigation, transactional matters, regulatory work, and advisory roles. He approaches each file by isolating the legal questions first and then mapping the procedural route to resolve them.
Outside the office he maintains a connection to the legal education that formed him. Many attorneys who study political science and then law keep an eye on how statutes and policy interact. That perspective can matter in cases that require both legal argument and an understanding of the broader institutional context.
McFadden-DiNicola has continued to base his practice in New Jersey. He keeps current on state law developments and relies on the grounding he gained at Rutgers and Seton Hall. He practices law in New Jersey.
