About Wayne
Wayne Sinnett earned his law degree from California Western School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2014. He previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at California State University, San Marcos, finishing that program in 2009. Those academic years set the stage for a legal career centered in California and the federal courts of the Ninth Circuit.
After law school, Sinnett moved into private practice and, in 2015, founded Sinnett Law, APC. He built the firm from a single office into a multi-location practice across the state. The firm maintains a presence in several California cities, and Sinnett has overseen that expansion while handling litigation and appellate matters that arise in state and federal venues.
He is admitted to practice in California and has secured admission to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Those admissions shape the matters he accepts. He appears in California state courts and files appeals and federal district court matters that fall under the Ninth Circuit’s jurisdiction.
Sinnett’s practice shows a balance between courtroom work and appellate briefing. He manages trial preparation, motions practice, and the drafting of appellate briefs. Colleagues describe his approach as methodical. He emphasizes careful fact-gathering and precise legal writing. Clients and opposing counsel encounter that attention in hearings and filings.
The firm’s footprint reflects a focus on accessibility across Southern and Northern California. Sinnett Law, APC lists offices in San Jose, San Diego, Los Angeles, Redlands, Palmdale, and Victorville. Sinnett splits his time between court appearances and supervising attorneys at those locations. He also spends time mentoring newer lawyers at the firm and handling complex filings that require appellate experience.
Beyond casework, Sinnett engages in continuing legal education typical for practicing attorneys, maintaining active admissions and staying current on developments in state and federal law. He has built a practice centered on litigated matters and appeals, and he regularly represents clients in California courts and before the Ninth Circuit. His current practice focuses on litigation and appellate work across multiple California offices.
