About Nina G.

Nina G. Shapirshteyn is a partner at Alexander Law Group, LLP. She has built a career split between two states and two legal communities. Colleagues describe her as steady in the courtroom and methodical in the office.

Her legal training began at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where she earned her J.D. in 2007. Before law school she completed a B.S. in Management Science at the University of California, San Diego in 2003. The combination of a quantitative undergraduate degree and a law degree shaped an approach that values detail and clarity.

After law school, Shapirshteyn moved into practice that bridged New York and California. She is admitted to practice in both states. Over the years she has handled matters that require comfort with differing state rules and court procedures. That cross-jurisdictional experience has influenced how she evaluates cases and counsels clients.

At Alexander Law Group, LLP she serves as a lawyer and partner. Her role includes managing client matters, briefing courts, and coordinating litigation strategy with co-counsel. The partnership role also involves supervising more junior attorneys and participating in firm decision-making. She has been listed in the firm’s partner ranks while maintaining an active caseload.

Shapirshteyn has maintained memberships in professional organizations since 2007 and again beginning in 2009. Those ongoing ties reflect a steady engagement with the bar and with peers, and they have provided opportunities to stay current on developments in both California and New York practice.

Her work tends to require careful legal analysis and procedural awareness. She often deals with the procedural demands that come from matters filed in different jurisdictions, and she adjusts strategies to account for local rules. Clients and colleagues note an attention to documentation and an emphasis on clear, practical advice.

Outside of firm responsibilities, she has balanced casework across state lines, moving between matters in California and New York courts when necessary. That mobility has been a practical asset for clients who face issues that do not fit neatly within one state’s borders.

She currently practices at Alexander Law Group, LLP, where her work is concentrated on representing clients in matters across California and New York.
