About Vincent

Vincent Tong graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law and built a career that mixes courtroom work with bar leadership. He studied the law in Silicon Valley, then stayed in California to practice. His path shows an interest in both the practice and the institutions that shape it.

Early in his career Tong took on roles that put him in the middle of legal community conversations. In 2016 he served as District Representative for Northern California in the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. That same year he was on the Board of Directors of the Alameda County Bar Association. A year later he joined the Executive Board of the California Employment Lawyers Association. Those posts involved policy discussions, member education and coordinating local programming. They also signaled a willingness to take on organizational work alongside casework.

On the work side, Tong’s association with the California Employment Lawyers Association points to sustained engagement with employment law issues. He has handled matters that require familiarity with California labor statutes and federal employment rules. Colleagues describe him as methodical in building a case file and attentive to procedural detail. He combines case preparation with an eye for practical resolutions when they serve a client’s goals.

Tong’s leadership roles informed how he approaches client work. Serving on bar boards exposed him to diverse practices and the administrative side of legal practice. That experience helped him gauge trends in litigation and client counseling. He has used that perspective when evaluating disputes and deciding what steps to take next.

He practices at TONG LAW. The firm handles employment-related matters that are shaped by both state and federal law. Tong takes on litigation and pre-litigation matters, and he has spent time educating peers through association panels and local bar events.

Today he remains active in the legal community while running a practice in California. His current work focuses on employment law matters.
