About Vanessa M.
Vanessa M. Nenni earned a bachelor’s degree from King’s College in 1978, where she studied political science and criminal justice. She went on to receive her J.D. from Temple University in 1982. Those years framed an early interest in legal systems and public service, and they set the stage for a long career practicing law in Pennsylvania.
She began her legal career in the mid-1980s as an associate at Margolis, Smith, Baker and Schoff, P.C. In the years that followed she held associate roles at Fitzpatrick, Lentz & Bubba in 1991, at the Law Office of Rudolph Zeiger, Jr. in 1993, and at the Law Office of Gary S. Figore in 1995. Each position added to her courtroom experience and to a practical understanding of litigation and client work around the state.
In 1997 she opened her own firm, the Law Office of Vanessa M. Nenni, P.C., and has operated it since. Running a small firm required handling both legal matters and the business side of practice. She has managed case preparation, client intake, and trial strategy while overseeing day-to-day operations of the office.
Her affiliations include membership in the Northampton County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She has also served in the Lehigh County Bar Association, where she held the role of past president. Those memberships reflect long-term ties to the local legal community and to peers who practice criminal law in the region.
Over the course of her career she has worked through a range of matters encountered in county and state proceedings.
