About Valder
Valder Zankov came to law after a two-discipline undergraduate course of study that combined economics and psychology. He earned a B.A. from Rutgers University–New Brunswick/Piscataway, then continued to Georgia State University College of Law where he received his J.D. The move from a social sciences background into law gave him a mix of analytical and people-focused perspectives early in his career.
After law school he began practicing in Georgia. He is admitted to practice in the state and has built a practice that serves individuals and businesses across common matters in Georgia courts and administrative settings. He has experience handling client work that requires both courtroom representation and transactional attention, depending on what the matter demands.
Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in the way he approaches problems. He tends to break complicated issues into smaller steps. That makes legal processes more predictable for the people he represents. He prefers to explain options plainly. He also prepares clients for the pace and cost of litigation when that path becomes necessary.
Education continues to shape his approach. The economics training gives him a sense for cost-benefit tradeoffs and financial implications that surface in many disputes.
