About Clayton Thomas

Clayton Thomas Kendrick earned his Juris Doctor from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law in 2019 after beginning his studies in 2016. He completed his law degree as Georgia became the jurisdiction where he would build his legal career. The law school years gave him the foundation for courtroom procedure and legal writing that he used immediately after graduation.

Kendrick moved into private practice in 2019 when he joined Beck, Owen & Murray as an associate. The early years at the firm put him in day-to-day contact with client work and the rhythms of practice in Georgia courts. He handled files, learned the demands of client intake and case preparation, and worked alongside more senior lawyers to prepare matters for motion practice and hearings.

In 2023 he opened Kendrick Law Office and assumed ownership and management responsibilities. Running a small firm has expanded his role beyond client advocacy. He manages office operations, client communication, and the administrative side of practice. That experience marks a shift from associate duties to the multiple roles required of a solo or small-firm practitioner.

Kendrick has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 2019 and belongs to the Spalding County Bar Association. Those memberships indicate his ongoing participation in the local and state professional communities. He maintains his standing in the bar and works within the rules and procedures that govern practice in Georgia courts.

Colleagues describe him as steady in court and practical in advising clients. He balances litigation tasks with the counseling aspects of lawyering, guiding clients through procedural steps and settlement considerations. He has developed skills in managing case files and navigating local court requirements.

Today, Kendrick practices out of Kendrick Law Office in Georgia. He represents clients in matters arising under Georgia law and handles the administrative, procedural, and advocacy tasks that a small-firm practice requires. He continues to accept new matters at his office and to serve clients across the state.
