About Troy B.

Troy B. Daniel graduated from Michigan State University College of Law in 1996. He finished law school at a moment when the legal landscape was shifting, and the degree provided a foundation for a career spent practicing in his home state. The classroom and the campus gave him the credential. The next decades gave him the experience.

After completing his legal education Mr. Daniel established his practice in Michigan. He is licensed to practice in the state and has built a local practice that serves individuals and organizations. His career has been grounded in the everyday work of a state lawyer: advising clients, preparing filings, and appearing in court when necessary. Those tasks make up the bulk of what he does, and they shape how clients describe their interactions with him.

Much of Mr. Daniel’s time has been devoted to handling matters that arise under Michigan law. He handles casework that requires attention to state statutes, local rules, and courtroom procedure. He also spends time on transactional matters and client counseling. The balance between litigation and advisory work has varied over the years, depending on the needs of the people and businesses who bring matters to his office.

He operates Daniel Law Office, PLC, where he works directly with clients and manages the firm’s legal workflow. The office handles intake, case preparation, court appearances and negotiated resolutions when those are appropriate. Colleagues and clients who have worked with the office note a straightforward approach to legal problems and an emphasis on practical outcomes rather than legal theory.

As of 2026 Mr. Daniel maintains an active practice in Michigan through Daniel Law Office, PLC, representing clients in matters arising under state law and providing counsel on a range of civil legal issues.
