About Timothy T.

Timothy T. Parker grew up reading and writing, a path that led him from Tacoma to New York and back. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Washington’s Tacoma campus in 2007. He then pursued law, receiving his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2010. The combination of a liberal arts grounding and a New York law school shaped his early approach to legal problems: careful attention to language and procedure.

Parker is licensed to practice in Washington and in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington. Those admissions allow him to appear in both state and federal forums. He serves as an associate at Gordon Thomas Honeywell LLP, where he is part of a team that handles matters in the state and federal systems. Colleagues describe him as methodical and thorough in legal research and in preparing filings for court.

Early in his career he moved into private practice after completing law school. His work has involved drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and handling motions practice in federal and state courts. He has taken on roles that require courtroom preparation and client counseling. Parker’s background in English informs his drafting; he favors clear, precise language in briefs and memoranda.

Outside the office, Parker has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound since 2013. That long-term association reflects an ongoing engagement with youth mentoring in the region. He balances pro bono and community work alongside his firm responsibilities when schedules allow.

At Gordon Thomas Honeywell LLP, Parker works on matters that bring him into Washington’s trial courts and into federal district court. He participates in the day-to-day work of case preparation and supports more senior attorneys in litigation strategy and client communications. He handles procedural tasks and substantive research that help move cases toward resolution.

Parker’s career trajectory is one of steady practice building. He blends an academic grounding in English with legal training from St. John’s, and he uses those skills in both drafting and courtroom settings. He remains active in his community while practicing at Gordon Thomas Honeywell LLP. He currently practices in Washington state and in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington.
