Timothy J. Trott took an unconventional path into the law. He began with a bachelor’s degree in media studies from Fordham University in 1981, then returned to school and earned his J.D. from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 1992. The combination of a liberal arts background and later legal training underpins a career that moves between firm partnership and solo practice.
Soon after earning his law degree, Trott entered private practice. In 1993 he joined Cox and Trott as a partner. That role evolved into a partnership at Crane, Teti, Cox, Trott and Bishay, LLP in 2001. After years in those firm settings he established his own office.
