About Ryan
Ryan Grace earned his J.D. from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 2009. He completed law school the same year he began work in the Delaware County legal community. That early entry into public service shaped his approach to daily practice and introduced him to courtroom work and case management at an early stage.
Soon after graduation he joined the Delaware County District Lawyer's office as an Assistant District Lawyer in 2009. In that role he handled prosecutorial responsibilities, prepared cases for trial, and worked with law enforcement and victims through the charging and discovery processes. The experience gave him regular courtroom exposure and a clear sense of how public offices and private practice interact in Pennsylvania’s legal system.
After more than a decade in public and private roles, he moved into firm leadership. In 2020 he became a partner at Bellwoar Kelly, LLP. The move placed him in a position that blends litigation, client counseling, and supervision of other lawyers in the firm. Colleagues describe his approach as pragmatic; he tends to emphasize preparation and clear communication in casework.
Professionally he has remained connected to local legal institutions. He has been a member of the Delaware County Bar Association since 2010. That affiliation has kept him engaged with continuing legal education and local bar activities. He also holds membership in an additional professional association that he maintains currently.
Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, Grace has experience that spans both the public prosecutor’s office and private firm practice. His background in the district lawyer’s office informs how he assesses evidence and prepares for hearings. At the firm level he participates in client intake, strategy development, and courtroom advocacy. He balances trial work with case management tasks and supervises aspects of litigation handled by the firm.
Colleagues and clients see him as a steady practitioner who approaches cases methodically. He writes and speaks plainly about legal options and expected outcomes. Outside the courtroom he continues to engage with the Delaware County legal community through bar association activities and local professional events. He currently practices as a partner at Bellwoar Kelly, LLP and concentrates his practice on counsel and litigation work in Pennsylvania.
