Timothy Francis Pearce is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2001 and holds bar number 215223. Mr. Pearce earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, in 2001. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Chico, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1995. During his time at UC Hastings, he was involved in various legal clinics and externships, gaining practical experience in personal injury and product liability law.
Mr. Pearce concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury law, product liability, and mass torts. He represents individuals and families in cases involving asbestos exposure, defective drugs and medical devices, and various personal injury matters. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Pearce has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Francisco, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He has also appeared before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on multiple occasions. Prior to founding Pearce Lewis LLP, he worked as an associate at Clapper & Patti and Hersh & Hersh, gaining experience in complex litigation and personal injury cases.
Mr. Pearce is an active member of the State Bar of California, the American Association for Justice, the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association. He has been recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer from 2014 to 2026. Additionally, he serves as a board member for the Marin Valentine's Ball, an organization that raises awareness and support for charitable organizations benefiting children and families in need throughout the North Bay. Mr. Pearce is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area effectively.
