About Timothy
Timothy Denison earned his Bachelor of Arts from Western Kentucky University in 1988, where he studied psychology and business administration. He continued his education at the University of Louisville College of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 1991. Those years of study laid a foundation in analytical thinking and courtroom procedure that he has carried into practice.
He went into private practice shortly after law school. In 1991 he established his own firm, operating under the name Timothy Denison, Lawyer at Law. He has maintained that practice continuously since then. Over time he has built a practice grounded in litigation and courtroom work, supported by formal trial training and repeated appearances in state and federal forums.
Denison is admitted to the bar in Kentucky and holds admissions that allow him to appear before the United States Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. His professional training includes completion of the Trial Practice Institute through NCDC and the Trial Skills Academy through IFCDA, programs that emphasize courtroom technique and advocacy.
