About Timothy

Timothy Andrews took a direct route into the courtroom. He studied politics and law at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earning a B.A. in 2004, then moved to Boston University School of Law where he received his J.D. in 2010. The academic path laid out the practical work that followed: research, drafting, and an early appetite for litigation.

After law school, Andrews began building a trial practice. He joined Poole Huffman, LLC as a trial lawyer and has since concentrated on taking contested matters to verdict. His work requires steady preparation. He prepares pleadings, handles discovery, argues motions and conducts bench and jury trials across Georgia. Colleagues describe him as methodical in the courtroom and deliberate in strategy.

Andrews is admitted to practice in Georgia and holds admissions to the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia. Those credentials allow him to move cases between state and federal fora when circumstances require. Over the years he has tried cases in both settings and appears regularly in hearings and trial calendars across the state.

He maintains membership in the State Bar of Georgia. That connection keeps him plugged into continuing legal education and the procedural developments that shape litigation. In practice, that translates into attention to procedural detail and an emphasis on the mechanics of trial work: witness preparation, exhibit management and courtroom presentation.

Within Poole Huffman, LLC Andrews is part of a trial team that handles contested civil matters. His day-to-day work blends case assessment with courtroom advocacy. He spends time evaluating case theories, taking and defending depositions, and negotiating resolution where settlement is feasible. When settlement is not an option, he is the point person to try the case to verdict.

Outside the courtroom he remains involved in the practical tasks that sustain a trial practice. He mentors newer trial lawyers at the firm and contributes to case strategy sessions. His colleagues say he values thoroughness and prefers to let results speak for themselves.

As of 2026, Timothy Andrews continues to practice as a trial lawyer at Poole Huffman, LLC, representing clients in state and federal courts across Georgia and focusing on contested litigation and trial advocacy.
