About Molly
Molly Gray took a direct path from political science into law. She earned a B.A. in Political Science and Government from Georgia State University in 2018, and continued there for an M.A. in the same field, completed in 2019. That academic background preceded a law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she received her J.D. in 2022.
Her time at Vanderbilt came at a busy moment in her education. Classroom work in constitutional and procedural topics sat alongside practical exercises and clinics common to modern legal training. The sequence from bachelor’s to master’s to law degree gave her an extended look at government institutions and the legal frameworks that shape them.
Gray entered practice soon after law school. In 2023 she joined Poole Huffman, LLC as a trial lawyer. That designation identifies her primary role at the firm: representing clients in courtroom settings and managing litigation tasks that prepare matters for trial. She is admitted to practice in Georgia and holds current membership in the State Bar of Georgia.
At Poole Huffman, Gray is part of a team that handles civil litigation and courtroom work. Her responsibilities have included case preparation, motion practice and advocating before judges and juries. Colleagues describe her as methodical in building a case record and attentive to procedural detail. She balances written advocacy with oral argument in court, an ordinary requirement for trial attorneys.
Outside the courtroom, Gray’s academic roots in political science inform her perspective on governmental and regulatory issues that sometimes arise in litigation. Her graduate studies emphasized institutions and policy, and those themes appear in how she frames legal questions for fact-finders and judges. That mix of theoretical and practical training shapes the way she approaches disputes.
Her professional affiliations are straightforward. She maintains membership in the State Bar of Georgia and works from Poole Huffman’s offices. She continues to practice in Georgia courts, where she handles trial-level matters on behalf of clients.
Colleagues and clients who interact with her encounter a lawyer who moves between research, drafting and courtroom presentation. She remains based at Poole Huffman, LLC and currently practices as a trial lawyer handling matters in Georgia courts.
