Timothy B. Anderson is a attorney specializing in business law, intellectual property, real estate law, and international law. He has been practicing law in Utah for over four decades, providing comprehensive legal services to clients. His experience covers business transactions, real estate developments, and international commercial matters. Mr. Anderson earned his Juris Doctor from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 1978. Prior to that, he graduated with high honors from Southern Utah University in 1975, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. His academic background laid a solid foundation for his multifaceted legal career.
In 1980, Mr. Anderson began his legal practice as an Assistant St. George City Attorney, a role he held until 1980. He then joined Jones, Waldo, Holbrook & McDonough, where he served as Managing Shareholder of the St. George branch office from 1980 to 2019. During his tenure, he also led the firm's International Practice Group from 2012 to 2019. In 2019, he transitioned to Kirton McConkie, assuming the position of Managing Shareholder for the St. George office, where he continues to serve clients with dedication and expertise. Throughout his career, Mr.
Anderson has been instrumental in facilitating significant business developments in southern Utah. He has assisted clients with direct selling ventures, commercial and recreational real estate projects—including ski resorts, golf courses, medical services, and technology companies—as well as matters related to public lands and environmental concerns. His international practice focuses on commercial law and sales-related projects across the European Union and parts of Asia. Mr. Anderson's professional affiliations are extensive. He is a member of the Utah State Bar, where he has been active in the Corporate, Intellectual Property, International Law. Health Law sections, even serving as Chair of the Health Law section from 2015 to 2016. He is also a member of the American Bar Association's Health Law section and the Southern Utah Bar Association. His involvement extends to the St.
George Area Economic Development Council and the U.S. Direct Selling Association. He has served as Government Regulatory Counsel, Legal Counsel Committee member, and International Council member from 2000 to 2020. Recognized for his contributions to the legal community, Mr. Anderson received the Professionalism Award from the Utah State Bar in 2010. He has also been honored by Best Lawyers® in multiple categories, including Commercial Litigation, Corporate Law, and Real Estate Law, with recognitions spanning from 2013 to 2026.
