Thomas William Stilley

Thomas William Stilley is a bankruptcy attorney based in Portland, Oregon, with over 30 years of experience in complex business and financial restructuring matters. He has served as lead counsel to business debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, committees, and trustees in significant Chapter 11 cases in Oregon and southwestern Washington. Additionally, he represents Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees and receivers and frequently handles commercial litigation cases in state and federal courts. Mr. Stilley earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center in 1988 and his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin in 1977. In his personal life, Mr. Stilley enjoys cooking, particularly barbecue and Cajun cuisine, and has a focus on bread baking. He is an avid cyclist, hiker, and bird hunter, and enjoys international travel and gardening. He shares these interests with his wife and their Brittany Spaniel, Cooper.
