About William
William Hollomon began his academic path studying history, a discipline that shaped his approach to legal reasoning. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Dallas in 2014. He went on to law school at Willamette University College of Law and received his J.D. in 2017. At Willamette he took courses in business law, international law and intellectual property law, and those subjects continued to influence his course of work after graduation.
While in law school Hollomon combined classroom study with hands-on experience. In 2019 he served as a director for the Law Students for Sensible Drug Policy chapter at Willamette, helping organize events and guide group projects. That same year he spent time as an extern in the Oregon Secretary of State’s office. He also worked as a law clerk at the Willamette Law Business Clinic, where he handled client matters under supervision and assisted with transactional work for small businesses.
Those early roles gave Hollomon practical exposure to the day-to-day work of public and private practice. They also informed his move into business law. In 2021 he joined Fortify Law LLC as a business lawyer. His work there has included drafting contracts, advising on entity formation and counseling clients about intellectual property considerations tied to their commercial operations.
Hollomon maintains membership in the Oregon State Bar. He practices in Oregon and manages matters that often require a mix of transactional drafting and regulatory awareness. His background in international law classes helps when cross-border questions arise, and the intellectual property coursework informs counseling on trademarks and licensing. He approaches each file with attention to detail and an eye for practical outcomes.
Colleagues describe Hollomon as methodical in his preparation and clear in his written work. He draws on clinical experience gained at Willamette to explain legal options in straightforward terms. That practical orientation shows up in how he assists small-business clients, from forming entities to negotiating vendor agreements.
He currently practices at Fortify Law LLC, where he handles business law matters, including contract drafting, corporate formation and intellectual property counseling.
